Thank you for visiting the website of the Keio-Waseda Support Committee. My name is Kaoru Kawashima, a fourth-year student in the Faculty of Letters and I am the chairperson of the 2023 Keio-Waseda Support Committee.

The Keio Waseda Support Committee, commonly known as the “support group,” is a welfare organization made up of Keio University students and boasts a long history of more than 50 years. Our main activities include selling tickets for cheering seats for the Tokyo Big 6 baseball games, guiding spectators on the day of the game, and running the victory parade when the team wins. In recent years, we have also participated in the management of various sports games other than baseball, such as ice hockey and basketball.

Recently, due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection, we have been unable to carry out our activities at the Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium. However, now that the footsteps of everyday life are returning, the day is approaching when the support group can play an active role at the Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium again. While respecting the traditions of the support group and respecting those traditions, we will transform ourselves according to the new era. We intend to build such a support group in the future.

I will continue to devote myself to my activities without forgetting my gratitude to my seniors who have continued to light the light of the support group even in the difficult situation of the corona disaster.

I hope that all of you will be able to experience the refreshing heat of the Tokyo Big 6 baseball games at the stadium once again. When the corona disaster has passed, let's all join hands without hesitation and sing young blood.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium.
